About Us

The Lunar Llamas Foundation is a non-profit  organization. We raise funds and organize drives to help unhoused and underprivileged.

Our Story

The Lunar Llamas is a team of high school girls whose goals are aimed toward helping the underprivileged. We started off as a robotics team competing in the First Lego League tournaments and made it up to regionals two years in a row.

Alongside the robotics competitions, we also were working on a project with the intent to create showers for the unhoused that was easily accessible, clean, and comfortable. This project sparked our interest in helping the unhoused and underprivileged.

This was where we met the organization Lava Mae, whose goals aligned with ours and we were able to learn more about how we can help the unhoused as a team.

With the help of our executive, we formed the Lunar Llamas Foundation to help the unhoused and underprivileged.


Future Plans

We plan to raise money for the unhoused through fundraisers and events, We plan to use technology to positively impact the underprivileged and unhoused. Our aim is to reach and provide for the underprivileged and unhoused throughout the globe. However, we intend to start with our community first through outreach and educational programs, drives for clothing, and basic necessities for the unhoused. We aim to collaborate with other organizations around the community so that we can reach a larger group of people
